Guidelines

Selection of the Institutes

Submit the application in the prescribed format along with a processing fee of Rs.2,500/- (validity is three years)

Based on the details furnished in the application form, an expert team will inspect the centre to assess the infrastructure requirements including faculty.

Applications can be submitted throughout the year. However KITTS will undertake inspection only once in a year.

If the institute fails to qualify in it, they can request for the re-inspection along with next year’s inspection schedule after fulfilling the requirements.

The Courses offered for 2008-09 are

1. Diploma in Tourism Resort and Hotel Management (2 years)
   Minimum Qualification: A pass in Plus two or equivalent Age: Maximum 30 years Maximum number of students: 40 per batch
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Travel and Cargo Management (1 year)
   Minimum Qualification: Graduation Age: Minimum 20 Years, Maximum number of Students: 30-40 per batch
3. Diploma in Spa Management/Spa Therapy (1 year)
   Minimum Qualification: A pass in Plus two or equivalent Age: Minimum 17 Years, Maximum number of students: 40 per batch

1. The chosen centres can select the students themselves.
2. The selected students have to be enrolled with KITTS through the Centre. Enrollment fee Rs..3,500/- for two years programme, Rs.2,500/- for one year programme and Rs.1,500/- for six months course.

1. Exam registration Rs: 100/- for each paper
2. Valuation fee Rs.100/- for each paper
3. Mark list and Certificate Fees: Rs.300/-
4. Practical Viva Voce Exam Fees: Rs. 250/- per paper
